Gayini

The Brief

The NSW BCT had worked over several years to finalise an historic conservation agreement providing in-perpetuity funding for the Gayini wetlands managed by the Nari Nari tribal council. As they looked to replicate the project though private sector investment supporting other indigenous lands, they asked us to communicate the story from the perspective of the landholders themselves.

Solution

We made several trips to Gayini over the course of 6 months to build a genuine relationship with the Nari Nari elders and land managers. The final videos represent a truthful and optimistic representation of the future of Indigenous led conservation in NSW.
